Preacher: Rev. Michael Battle is Episcopal Priest at Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel, CA, and Canon Theologian in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. He studied in South Africa with Bishop Desmond Tutu. He is author of Blessed are the Peacemakers: A Christian Spirituality of Nonviolence, which makes connections between Mahatma Gandhi and Christian spirituality.

Witness of War: Noah Baker Merrill lived and worked with Iraqi refugees in Jordan and Syria - conducting interviews, working for release for detainees, advocating for aid to families, and consulting with governmental and non-governmental organizations. He is a lifelong member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
